Ana Vîrdol

Ana Vîrdol este ilustrator și grafician, absolventă a Universității Naționale de Artă București, secția Grafică, ce abordează teme precum spațiul mitologic românesc, copilăria petrecută la țară, memoria și experiențele personale trecute și prezente. Deține un interes deosebit pentru expresivitatea acuarelei, pe care o folosește pentru a defini un limbaj grafic propriu, în care textura, transparența și gestul devin elementele principale.


Ana Vîrdol is an illustrator and graphic artist, a graduate of the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Department of Graphic Arts, who explores themes such as Romanian mythology, her childhood spent in the countryside, memory, and past and present personal experiences. She has a particular interest in the expressiveness of watercolor, which she uses to define her own graphic language, in which texture, transparency, and gesture become the main focus.
